This is the official web site of the World Tang Soo Do Association, Region 7. The World Tang Soo Do Association is world-wide association with more than 500 member studios and over 100,000 members in 36 countries. Region 7 includes Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia in the Southeastern United States.
Tang Soo Do is a traditional Korean martial art that can be traced back over 2,000 years to the Korean peninsula. It teaches empty hand and foot fighting, fighting forms, self-defense, and weapons. Tang Soo Do also teaches people to live a healthy and harmonious life.
Region 7 consists of almost twenty studios and clubs in five states. There are active practitioners of Tang Soo Do in all six states. Our region continues to grow and prosper as the benefits of Tang Soo Do become more known and are strengthened by our Founder Jae C. Shin, Grandmaster William R. Strong, and the World Tang Soo Do Association.
